Biography – Wendy
Marlatt
Wendy Marlatt, is a Tribal Belly Dance instructor, Performer and troupe director based in Dublin Ireland. Passionate about dance, she received her foundation training in modern dance and tap as a young child. She has studied numerous and varied dance genres from Ballroom dance to Flamenco and Hula as well as dance therapy and authentic movement.
Inspired by a journey to Egypt as well as a performance by FatChanceBellyDance in San Francisco. Wendy received her key training in Tribal BellyDance with Carolena Nericcio, the master of the genre. Wendy trained and performed under Carolena’s direction from 1995 until 2003 with FatChanceBellyDance and FatChanceBellyDance Second skin.
Wendy continues to broaden her knowledge of dance and attends
workshops whenever possible. She thanks many wonderful teachers
for their inspiration including Dahlia

Wendy’s teaching style is friendly and relaxed. She teaches weekly
classes in Dublin and facilitates workshops throughout Ireland and the UK. She is also the troupe Director of Rashani, an international Tribal Belly Dance collective.
